Hector Javier Negrete Jr., a vibrant soul born on February 10th, 1990, in Valencia, CA, brought laughter and excitement everywhere he went. His parents, Hector “Paco” & Maria Negrete, blessed the world with a son whose enthusiasm for life was contagious. The family's move to Arlington, TX, in 1994, brought new adventures, including Hector Jr.'s love for sports, movies, and Pokémon, which began to shine. A cherished alumnus of Juan Seguin High School, Hector Jr.'s charm was undeniable.
His passion for football led him to Stephen F. Austin University on a full scholarship, where he continued to excel and cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Hector's dream of acting and filmmaking was more than a pursuit; it was a journey of storytelling that captivated all who knew him. His production company, Espooky Pops Productions, was a tribute to his late father and became a beacon in the horror film community, especially with hits like 'Pablo 1 & Pablo 2.'
Known for his portrayal of Michael Meyers during Halloween, Hector became a local legend, his gentle giant persona endearing him to many as he worked as a bouncer, protecting and joking in the same breath. Above all, his devotion to his mother, Maria, was the truest testament to his loving heart.
Though we say goodbye to Hector, his legacy lives on through his mother Maria E Negrete; his sisters Juliet Lopez Garcia & Mollie E. Negrete; his grandfather Pablo G. Ramirez; and his adoring nephews, Julian Cardenas & Pablo Lopez Garcia, as well as his faithful dog Max and a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
